Let the Christmas season begin!
I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving holiday. My husband's side of the family made an easy day of it. We ordered from a local restaurant and so we didn't have any cooking to do. My Thanksgiving had its ups and downs, but I'll talk about those in my SWB post.
My personal hopes for the Christmas season are to celebrate the Advent season with candle lighting and devotions. I want to focus on the significance of the holiday and not get too distracted by school and shopping. Pausing weekly to light the Advent candle is a welcome pause for reflection.
What are your hopes for this holiday season?

Although the examen is a Christian practice, I would hope that anyone who has something to share would feel welcome here. Also, if you don't have your own blog and would like to participate, share your bread in the comments. To holding on to what gives life,

I'm hoping for an internal pace led by peace - something that can't be bought. :)

Mary,
My blog matches your SWB page. How do we do this and not plan it?

For all my pre-planning, somehow I never get the advent wreath out on time.
Oh how I need to go BACK and redo the examen with a different attitude.
Cuz it IS about attitude, isn't it..
