Monday, November 17th

Well, in my neck of the woods (North Orange County, CA), we have been dealing with brush fires and ashy, smoke-filled air. While some would say that 90 degree temps and the Santa Ana winds aren't "fall" weather, I actually have many memories of this time of year--with 90 degree temps and hot winds whipping up the fires.

I do hope, though, for a decline of the wind, a dip in the temperature and rain. It would be nice for Thanksgiving. How's the weather in your part of the country?

Although the examen is a Christian practice, I would hope that anyone who has something to share would feel welcome here.

Also, if you don't have your own blog and would like to participate, share your bread in the comments.

I've experienced the Santa Ana's - bad stuff. I'd send you some of my cold, wet rain if I could!
